The Everyday Journal is putting together stories about the 15th anniversary of the enormous flood of June 2008 that inundated huge portions of Johnson County, creating millions of dollars in damage.

Neighborhood inhabitants who are ready to share their ordeals of that event are invited to send out an e mail to newstips@dailyjournal.internet detailing their encounter and offering call information and facts for a tale.

We are also trying to find images from people taken during the flooding and aftermath.

If you are willing to share your tale, please ship us data at newstips@dailyjournal.internet. We are asking that responses be created by e mail, and contain phone make contact with figures, and we will make contact with you for even more data.
